Rollo is a socially anxious dragon.

Social anxiety disorder, or social phobia, is a long term and overwhelming fear of social situations. 

How social anxiety impacts a person is different for everyone. Rollo's route was highly focussed on avoidance, particularly of strangers and is largely based on Louise Rabey's experience with the disorder. Louise also illustrated the design for Rollo. 

People with social anxiety, can also have other anxiety disorders.
