The Levinsky gallery is a nice open space and doesn't tend to be very busy.
Take your time to have a look at the artwork in the gallery.

The films "Except this time nothing returns from the ashes" by Asmaa Jama and Gouled Ahmed, and "Dinner with the family" by Sun Oh are playing in the dark room near the entrance into the university. Rollo likes to sit in this space for a while to decompress, especially if there is no one else in there. Stay in the room for at least 5 minutes if it is empty, 2 minutes if there are people in there, and enjoy the film (watch all of both films if you like!)

Next to the exit to Levinsky Gallery (the exit that leads into the university) there is a book on the left hand side, which is the piece "Dreams" by Dageong Han. This is a really interesting piece, however as the pages are fragile viewers are asked to speak to the exhibition assistants if they would like to turn the page and the assistants will provide gloves. Sometimes if the assistant notices a person looking at the piece they will come over and offer gloves anyway.

Whilst understandable, this can cause some distress to Rollo who struggles to talk to people they do not know. If you would like to look through the book and have someone with you it is recommend to see if they will talk to the exhibition assistant for you.

The toilets are through the automatic doors on the left hand side of the gallery. Go out through the automatic doors, turn right, and there is a door to the lift ahead on the right hand side, the ladies toilets are downstairs, men's are upstairs.

Rollo likes to hide in here sometimes when they need some time to calm down and there are no quiet spaces .

Explore the rest of the gallery at your own pace. Once you have finished looking at the exhibition, go back through the automatic doors you came through to leave the gallery.
