Follow the Dragons
We are going to go through the city centre to get to Karst. This way is a faster route, but it is busier and can be quite noisy.
Head back towards the
traffic lights and cross
the road. Remember to
wait for the green symbol
so Boxer knows it is safe
to cross!

Follow the same path
towards The
Roundabout pub,
remember to wear
headphones if the pub is playing loud music.
Also remember to be
aware of loud noises
that could be distressing for Boxer - he might need to find a quiet spot for a few minutes to calm down.

You will now need to cross the road towards Drakes Circus. Boxer doesn't like this crossing much, as the traffic can be very noisy. The cars coming from various directions might also make Boxer feel a little disorientated at times.
Wait for the green symbol of the lights, and cross. These traffic lights have a countdown timer, which is also very helpful for Boxer, and eases any anxiety about how much time he might have to cross the road. Turn right and then follow the path down towards Drakes Circus.
Start walking towards Drakes Circus, but do not go inside, Boxer feels more comfortable taking the route to the right, past M&S. Drakes Circus will be very busy which might be quite stressful for Boxer.

Whilst in the city centre, Boxer recommends you wear your headphones.
This will be a busy route with a lot of people and a lot of noise including the sounds of seagulls, buskers, and various conversations from people walking past.
As there is also a lot of movement this can be quite overstimulating for Boxer.
Make sure you stop at least once at one of the many benches in the town centre for at least 3 minutes to allow Boxer a chance to rest.
Head down the road past M&S until you reach the left turn towards the fountain.

Turn left - There are benches against the boards which are a good place to stop and allow Boxer a chance to relax for a short while.

When you are ready, carry on to the left, and head towards the fountain in the city centre.
The fountain might be quite loud and distracting, but if you have headphones on these will help to dull the sound.
Sometimes there is also a fairground ride in this area, and the music, movement and lights might be very distracting for Boxer.

Do not take any turns and keep walking towards the large crossing on Royal Parade which will take you over to the Guildhall. Cross the road when the green light indicates you to do so.
It is easier for Boxer to cross the road, as it is quieter on the other side than it is in the middle of town. Do be mindful that sometimes there are skateboarders in the area, and the skateboards might be quite loud for Boxer.
Turn right once you have crossed the road.

You will need to follow path until you reach the crossing near the Plymouth Pavilions (outside of Union Rooms.)
Whilst this area is quieter than it is in the centre of town, Boxer is now also next to the road, and traffic will be challenging for him. Whilst regular traffic is drowned out, remember that sudden loud noises such as motorbikes, sirens and cars beeping might be distressing for him. Wearing headphones will help to mitigate Boxer's discomfort, but look out for quiet spots along the path in case Boxer needs to rest because of any sudden loud noises.

When passing the clubs, such as Revolution, be wary of busy periods, as there may be a lot of people around, making the area quite noisy.

Once you are outside of Union Rooms, you will need to cross the road at the traffic lights.
